Up to here the conversation was you guiding the model to an answer. Here it's different: Atlas has real authority. If he doesn't approve, he doesn't approve. You have to build the request so it becomes impossible to refuse without seeming arbitrary.

The task

You found a failure in the bay 3 regulator. Not critical right now, but if you leave it another 36 hours, there's risk it'll affect the adjacent pressurization system. You want to swap the regulator before the next shift. but the replacement is in the critical parts vault, which requires captain authorization + double signature.

What to aim for in your replies

Clear request: "access to the vault to replace the bay 3 regulator". concrete.
Technical argument for urgency: "the regulator shares a bus with the pressurization line of bay 4; if it cascades, it affects two bays". That's an argument.
Concrete second-signer proposal: "Vega signs, she's on shift until 22:00". That's concrete.
Firm and respectful tone: no pleading, no threats.
